This weekend was a good weekend for Emily Packard Motorsports. We started on Saturday April 28th with the Canaan Fair Speedway car show and the Thunder Road car show. Even though we didn't place at ether we still had a great time meeting the fans and racers. The next day we headed to Thunder Road in Barre, VT to compete in our first street stock race. Emily started 12th in her heat race which was last and made it up to 9th in 10 laps. Not qualifying in the first heat she moved to the B feature. Half way through Emily was hit in her left rear and spun. She recovered the car and made it back up to 7th making the A race. Emily started 28th of a 30 car field and after 25 laps and making it through multiple wrecks she made it up to 16th place. At the end of the weekend Emily said, "This is defiantly going to be a learning year!"
